Diane Carroll Taylor

Diane Carroll Taylor, 76, of Cherryville, passed away on April 30, 2023, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Lee Wright Carroll and Emma Carroll.

Diane was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a hard worker who retired after 15 years of service at Bullfrog knits in Gastonia. She was an avid book reader and puzzle builder. She enjoyed vacationing in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee where every Thanksgiving was spent with family, and family was always her main priority.

In addition to her parents, Diane is proceeded in death by her brother, Jerry Carroll; sister, Martha McCarter.

Diane is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Taylor; daughter Wendy Barnes and (the late William Barnes Jr); Grandchildren Brandie McDonald and husband, Ricky; Zachary Barnes and fiancé, Allissa Brittain; Lacie Harris and husband, Josh; Great grandchildren Kyliegh and Karson McDonald, Jaxen Harris, Elijah Barnes. Several other nieces and nephews.
