Diane Spivey

Diane Spivey, 72, of Kings Mountain, passed away on August 13, 2017, at her home.

She was born February 25, 1945, in Alexandria, Louisiana, daughter of the late George Fredrick Landers and Jewell Bullit Landers.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Ron Duncan.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Mrs. Spivey is survived by her loving husband, William A. Spivey Jr.; son, William A. Spivey III and wife Diane, and Odell Spivey; daughters, Donna Green and husband, Bob, Norma McCormick; half- sisters, Doris Waxley and husband Jerry, Mary Rose Foster; grandson that she raised, Fredrick Allen Cooper and wife, Roxanne; twelve more grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister, Linda Racine; half-sister, Margaret Ann Ross; stepsister, Frances Grigg.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
