Diane Hendricks Ellis

Diane Hendricks Ellis, 61, of Clover, SC, passed away May 20, 2012, at her home. She was born November 19, 1950 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Cecil M. Hendricks and Betty Fore White. She was a member of Freedom Christian Center, Gastonia. She was raised by her late great grandmother Elizabeth Truelove. A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm on Thursday at Freedom Christian Center, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Barry Sullivan. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 pm on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. She is survived by: sons, Billy Ellis Jr. and wife, Denise of Inwood, WV, Timothy D. Ellis of Clover, SC, Russell Ellis and wife, Heather of Pittsbugh, PA, Michael E. Ellis of Carrboro, NC; daughter, Rebecca E. Ellis Walters and husband, Gary of Mary Esther, FL; brothers, Russell P. Hendricks of Columbus, MS, Donnie Hendricks of Greer, SC; sisters, Rita Jarvis and husband, Ray of Supply, NC, Mary Westmoreland and husband, Eddie of Blacksburg, SC, Pat Peterson and husband, Richard of Mt. Holly, Kathy Caldwell and husband, John of Lincolnton; grandchildren, James, Megan, Loranna, Samantha, Amber, Anna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 39 years, Bill Ellis Sr.; brother, Ronnie Hendricks; sister, Mildred Cook. Memorials may be made to Hospice Community Care, P.
