Devy Randall Smith

Devy Randall Smith, 71, of Cramerton, NC, passed away Friday, January 3, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born March 27, 1953, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late John and Jane Smith.

Devy loved playing baseball for South Point High School and legion baseball in Belmont. Graduated for App State with bachelor's degree and from Clemson University with master degree. He was a PE teacher and football coach in Georgia and Anderson SC before retiring. He attended South Point Baptist Church in Belmont, NC. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother and his wife, Wayne and Helena Smith; niece, Cindy Whisnant and husband Todd; and nephew, Randy Smith.
