Dennis Parker Jr.

Dennis Walter Parker Jr., 78, of Dallas, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 22, 1934 in Cleveland County, son of the late Dennis Walter Parker Sr. and Eunice Millon Parker. He was a member of Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dallas. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and owner/operator of Parker Refrigeration in Dallas. Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Virginia Alma Parker of the home; sons, Ronnie Dale Parker of Lincolnton, Randall Dennis Parker of Gastonia, and Derek Shane Parker of the home; daughters, Debra Yvette Belk of Kings Mountain and Wanda Renee Domingo of Indian Trail; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dallas. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 to 2 pm prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Sandy Bozeman, Pastor Brian Correll, and Pastor Jeff Johnston. Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly.
