Dennis Powell Dees

Dennis Powell Dees, 63, of Gastonia, passed away on March 10, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born September 8, 1960, in Gaston County, son of Georgia Rice Dees and the late Gardley Powell Dees.

Dennis loved to watch wrestling and vampire movies and was a great skater. He enjoyed listening to music, Black Sabbath was his favorite group. He enjoyed playing the drums and in his younger days he was in a few local bands.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Road Bessemer City, officiated by Pastor Larry Taylor.

Dennis is survived by his loving mother, Georgia Rice Dees; brother, Randy Dees; nephew, Matthew Hale.

In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his fiancée, Belinda Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in honor of Dennis to your Charity of Choice.
