Demetria "Boo Boo" Wheeler Gibson

Demetria "Boo Boo" Wheeler Gibson, 47, of Stanley, passed away July 17, 2016 at her residence.

She was born May 28, 1969 in Buncombe County, the daughter of Joyce Ann Gause Gibby and the late Edgar Lee Wheeler.

Demetria attended Community Pentecostal Center in Stanley.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and sister.  She had a beautiful smile that would warm everyone's heart that she met.

Left to cherish her memories along with her mother are her loving husband Stephen Gibson of 21 years; sons Timothy and Eddie Hullender; brothers Joe Wheeler and James Gause and 2 grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Kurt Gause and grandfather Charlie Gibby.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Rick Calloway, will be held 2 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
