Delores Wallace Ballew

Delores Wallace Ballew, 66, of Lowell, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Caromont Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born in Monroe, NC on February 2, 1959, to the late J.D and Shirley Wallace.

Delores enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was very loving and devoted to her family. She was a wonderful mother and a perfect wife.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jackie and Kenny Wallace.

Delores is survived by her loving husband, David Ballew; daughters, Teresa Ballew Clodfelter (Michael McBride) (Jason Clodfelter), Holly Marie Ballew; brother, Doug Wallace; sisters, Donna Sherrin (Chris), Denise Helms; grandchildren, Nathan Tadlock, Austin McBride, Liam Haas, Alexis Clodfelter; great-grandchild, J.D. Phillips.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Johnny Yarboro, will be held Monday, June 2, 2025, 2:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
