Deedie Terry Woody

Deedie Terry Woody, 81, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born April 14, 1940, in Greenville Co, SC, daughter of the late Hustell Terry and Bessie Lee Terry.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph L. Woody, Sr.; son, Ralph L. Woody, Jr.; grandsons, Ronnie Bland, and Johnny Jones; brothers, James Terry, and Norwood "Bud" Terry; and sisters, Letha Stinette, and Beula McGlamory.

Deedie is survived by her children, Debra West and Vernon, Sue Kemp, Kay Cota and Wayne, Pamela Bland, Donnie Lee Woody and Renee, and Beth Cook and Walt; brother, Donald Terry; and sister, Margie Silvers; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor James Chambers, will be held 3pm on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Souls Harbor Tabernacle - 271 Camp Rotary Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052 .

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be held at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Souls Harbor Tabernacle.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
