Deboyce "Sonny" Davis Jr.

Deboyce "Sonny" Davis Jr., 46, of Bessemer City, left this life too soon on May 30, 2017.

He was born June 12, 1970, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late, Deboyce Davis Sr. and Edith Ann Robertson Davis.

Sonny was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.  He loved the outdoors and was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Left to cherish his memories, are his loving wife of over 9 years, Angie Love Davis; sons, Curtis Shelton and B.J. Davis; daughter, Erika Shelton; brother, Virgil Davis and wife, Ashley; sister, Teresa Kestler and husband, Eric; grandchild, Baileigh Shelton and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Fain Farmer, will be held 3 pm Sunday at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 5306 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Bessemer City.

Visitation will follow the service at the church.
