Debbie Kirkland Robbins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Kirkland Robbins, of Gaston County, NC, who left us peacefully on May 4, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on June 3, 1953, in North Carolina, Debbie spent her life in the beautiful town of Dallas, NC, where she was known for her warm spirit and kind nature.

Debbie dedicated many years to her career at JP Stevens and Advance Auto Warehouse, where she built lasting relationships with coworkers and friends. She was a proud mother to her three children who will remember her fondly for the love and support she provided.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Janet Frisbee, Sandra Brookshire (Ken); son, James Robbins III (Alisha); grandchildren, Lori Robbins (Ashley), Bobi Frisbee-Cutshaw (Bobby), Kristopher Robbins, Stephen Robbins, Deklan Brookshire; great-grandchildren, Kayleann, Jameson, Kayson Cutshaw; aunt, Belle Smith; brother in law, Larry Huss; special niece, Lori Hawkins; special friend, Kim Gabbard

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pauline Kirkland; sister, Annie Huss; brother, Bobby Kirkland; grandparents, Thomas & Amanda Kirkland.

A memorial service officiated by Reverend Adrian Ballard and Reverend Tim Smith, will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026, 3:00 PM, at Waypoint Dallas Wesleyan Church, 217 S. College Street, Dallas NC.
