Debbie "Jo Jo" Bledsoe

Debbie "Jo Jo" Bledsoe, 65, of Shelby, passed away May 2, 2023, at Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cherryville.

She was born October 26, 1957, in McDowell County, daughter of the late William Francis Nichols and Helen Williams Nichols.

Debbie loved her family and was deeply devoted to each of them.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles and going for long rides.

She attended El Bethel Baptist Church in Hudson, NC

Services will be held at a later date.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Shoemake and husband Brian, Amanda Hall and Bergen; the love of her life, Joel Woods; sisters, Dianne Sisk and Stan, Betty Stephens; grandchildren, Brandon Arrowood, Brenda Shoemake, Bridgette Shoemake, Bryce Hall, Jase Hall, Brody Hall; great-grandchild, Karson Bogier.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, David Nichols.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.
