Debbie Jean Hamby

Debbie Jean Hamby, 60, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.
She was born September 13, 1959, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Grady Brance Hamby and Melva Cope Hamby.
Debbie loved to knit, crochet, watch the Gaither Hour, and was musically talented.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Sylvia Hamby.
Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Steven Hamby (Renee), Jeffrey Hamby, Jerry Hamby (Angie Wicke); sister, Kathy Brummitt (Martin); nieces and nephews, Angela Nash (Jason), Jenny Brummitt, Kimberly Vanderlaan, Nikole Dunn, Michael Brummitt, David Brummitt; numerous great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, 1:00 pm, at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia.
