Dawn Hefner

Belmont, NC - Dawn Hefner, 44, of Belmont, passed away May 19, 2014. She was born, February 26, 1970, native of Gaston County, daughter of Daniel and Sheila Brown. In addition to her parents Dawn is survived by; grandmother, Lucy Ball, husband, Steve Hefner; sons, William "Christopher" Cagle, Adam Kirby; daughter, Katherine Tadlock and husband, Matt; brother, Rayford Trent Conard and wife, Shana; sister, Lisa Jones and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Emma Bolynn, Benjamin Boylnn; nieces and nephews, Riley, Denton, Chase, Jimmy, Emma; uncle, Daniel Boone Ball and wife, Linda. She was preceded in death by, her grandfather, Rayford Ball and uncle, Daniel Ball. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Thursday at South Gastonia Church of God, 310 Carolina Ave, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Bob Gilley. Visitation will be 2 -2:45 pm prior to service Thursday at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dawn Hefner Funeral Fund in care of Steve Hefner at 85 Wade Street, Belmont, NC 28012.
