Dawn Hearn

Dawn Elizabeth Turner Hearn, 58. Of Charlotte, NC passed away, October 1st, 2021, at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC She was born August 26, 1963, in Mecklenburg County. Daughter of the late Robert Turner and her mother Bonnie McClure Turner. Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Deal, her son, Tommy Hearn, and daughter, Alisha Deal.

Dawn was a member of True Gospel Holiness Church of Charlotte, NC. She loved spending time with her family & friends, especially her granddaughters. Her favorite things were going to the beach, the holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas, listening to gospel music, cooking, and being the life of the party, and making everyone laugh.

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Merrisa Deal, and Jason Bennett, her son Brandon Deal, Stepson Benjamin Ray Deal Jr. brothers, Bobby, Roy, David, Billy and Scotty Turner; grandchildren, Nevaeh M cCorey and Sha'laiyh M cCorey, God Daugther Miranda Wilds ,special cousin Tammy Oxendine, and best friend Teresa Deal-Hunt, close friend Tammy Mace; Dawn will be missed by host of family & friends, but will be greatly missed by her Brother David Turner whom she had a very special relationship.

A celebration of her life will be officiated by Pastor D'Wayne Hunt on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 2:00 pm at True Gospel Holiness Church, located at: 3843 Lake Road Charlotte, NC. 28269.
