David Wolfe

David Edward Wolfe, 74, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Robin Johnson House.

He was born December 21, 1942, in Forsyth County, son of the late Ernest and Esther Shepherd Wolfe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Wolfe; sisters, Ernestine Wolfe Cline and Margie Lynn Wolfe Foltz.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 33 years, Helen Wolfe; son, Mark Wolfe of Winston-Salem; step-sons, Mike Shelton of Huntsville, AL, and Bobby Shelton of Lexington, NC; daughter, Debbie Tate and husband Keith of Lexington, NC; brother, Dennis Wolfe of Winston-Salem, NC; sisters, Marie Echols of Winston-Salem, and Joye Beckner of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Samuel Tate, Rachel Lewis, and Brittney Shelton; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Tuesday, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Interment will be private.
