David Lee Wilson

David "Dave" Lee Wilson, 70, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Milwaukee, WI, on October 24, 1953, to the late Alfred and Patricia Wilson.

Dave enjoyed collecting hats and building things. He liked photography. He loved being outdoors, but most of all he loved his family. He was a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparent, Dale Dykema; brothers, Larry Wilson, Dale Wilson.

Dave is survived by his wife of more than 13 years, Barbara Wilson; sons, Chris Wilson, Keith Wilson (Brooke), Brian Wilson (Lindy), Ben Wilson (Randi), Matt Schaaff (Rachel); daughters, Hope Wilson, Katie Graham (Josh), Kelly Castillo (Erick); brothers, Rob Wilson, Ronnie Wilson; sister, Ruthie Freeman; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
