David Michael Padgett

David Michael Padgett, 58, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 26, 1966, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Easter Marvin and Louise Worley Padgett.

David loved working in the yard, and collecting old money. He loved kids, and his fur babies, Star, Bella, Haley, Sasha, and Red.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Gravette; and brother, Billy Padgett.

David is survived by his wife, Karen Padgett; brother, Raymond Padgett (Joyce), of Bennettsville, SC; sisters, Barbara "Sissie" Human (Barry), of Gastonia, NC, and Donna Hamilton, of Gastonia, NC; nephews, Shane Human, Chris Baker, Brian Padgett, Brandon Padgett; great-nephew, Nelson Baker, of Lake Lure, NC; and mother-in-law, Patricia Baker, of Gastonia, NC.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor James Baker, will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, at 2:00pm, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
