David Wayne Mcculley

Stanley, NC David Wayne McCulley, 51, of Stanley, passed away March 6, 2013, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born September 27, 1961 in Mecklenburg County, son of Mary Upright McCully and the late J.H. McCully. Mr. McCulley attended Spirit of Life Church of God, where he loved singing in the choir. He enjoyed fishing and going to yard sales. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Kings Mountain Hospice House and Crawley Memorial Hospital for their care of Mr. McCulley. A celebration of Life Service will be held 2 pm on Sunday at his home, with the family receiving friends after the service at the home. Interment is private. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: sons, Christopher and Daniel Ward; daughter, Becky Hutchinson; sisters, Bonnie Daniels, Prissy McCully, Linda Johnson; brothers, Scooter and Michael McCully; a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Lekisha. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland County for Kings Mountain Hospice House, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
