David Paul Kistler

David Paul Kistler, 80, of Gastonia, NC, died January 24, 2023.

He was born in Belmont, NC, October 14, 1942, to the late Paul and Myrtle Kistler.

David graduated from Belmont High School and worked for the city of Gastonia as a field technician. He loved old bottles, coin collecting, fishing, and his late dog, Queenie. David was a man of few words but loved by all who knew him. He will be missed.

David is survived by his brother, Charles Grier Kistler; and sister, Elaine Kistler Young.

He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont on Saturday, January 28, 2023. There will be no services, and burial is private.
