David Duff, Jr.

David Duff Jr., 83, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born in New Jersey on August 9, 1940, to the late David and Edith Duff.

David was affectionately known as "Papa Duff" and Santa. He loved fixing things, fishing, and going to Walmart. He was head custodian of Gaston County Schools. He played Santa Clause at Christmas at W.A. Bess Elementary School.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his Uncle Jack.

David is survived by his wife, Wondy Duff; sons, David Duff (Veronica), Mike Duff, Keith Duff, Shawn Duff (Kellie); daughter, Heather Duff (Jonathan Inthisarath); grandchildren, Traci, "D.J." Shawn Jr., Silas, Kaylee; sister, Edith Duff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
