David Lee Jeffers

David Lee Jeffers, 80, of Gastonia, passed away April 13, 2022, at his home.

He was born October 16, 1941, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, son of the late Raymond Jeffers and Carmel Butch Jeffers.

He loved wood working and crafts.

He was a former member of the Riverside Yacht Club in Ashtabula, Ohio and helped with building the marina at ARU in Ashtabula. He enjoyed racing motorcycles when he lived up north.

David was one that stood out in the crowd wherever he went.

David is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Bishop Jeffers; son, Rodney Lee Jeffers (Kelly); daughter, Robin Candelario (Tony); two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special nephew and nieces.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Lee Jeffers; and a grandchild; sister, JoAnn DiDonato.

All services will be private.
