David Allen Horne

David Allen Horne, 61, of Belmont passed away July 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1953 in Mecklenberg County, son of the late Dempsey and Gloria "Peggy" Horne. A Memorial service will be held 6 pm on Sunday at North Gaston Church of God - 1310 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, officiated by Pastor Andy Nicholson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. David is survived by his sons, Allen Horne, Cory Horne and wife Denise; brothers, Cookie and Danny Horne; sisters, Debbie and Donna Hoffman; grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyenne and Brooklyn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dickie Horne. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
