David Hoffman

David Scott Hoffman, Sr., 57, of Gastonia, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Robin Johnson House.

A Gaston County native, he was born September 27, 1960, son of the late Dale and Edith Wilson Hoffman.

David was President/CEO of Hoffman Insurance Service for over 30 years.

He enjoyed dirt track racing and was champion in 1997.

He was an avid Harley rider.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, David Hoffman Jr. of Gastonia, Andy Hoffman and wife Brittany of Graham, NC; grandchildren, Maria Walters, David Hoffman III, and Noah Hoffman; brothers, Dr. Jeff Hoffman, and Doug Hoffman.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo, will be held 2 PM Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
