David Benjamin Davis

David Benjamin Davis, 80, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

He was born November 13, 1943, in Gaston County, NC son of the late Avery Erven Davis and Bessie Benalee Hardin Davis.

David was a retired entrepreneur business owner. He was known for his love of music and playing the guitar with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Green Davis.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Robert Davis and wife Roxanne, and Allen Davis; grandchildren, Carl Davis, Nathan Davis and wife Mary, AnnaMarie Davis, and Jacob Davis; and great-grandchildren, Marshall and Elizabeth Davis.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Hardin Community Baptist Church, 548 Hardin Road, Dallas, NC. Pastor Justin Driver will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
