David Cruz

David Cruz, 40 , of Gastonia, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born on October 15, 1980 , in Dade County, Fl, to Gladys Cruz.

David was a member of Christ Worship Center, Gastonia. He enjoyed playing pool and loved cars. David had a caring  heart and loved his family very much.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Gladys Cruz; son, Elijah Cruz; daughter, Kyia Cruz; brother, Carlos Guerra: sisters, Ruth Roman, and Sandra (Michael) Sample; and numerous extended family members.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Tim Barrett, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Christ Worship Center – 3951 West Franklin Blvd, Bessemer City, NC, 28016.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elijah and Kyia Cruz c/o Gladys Cruz – P.O. Box 352, Gastonia, NC 28053.
