David Adams

David Adams, 76, of Kings Mountain, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas.

He was born December 6, 1940, in Gaston County, to the late Sid and Ruth Mason Adams.

David retired from AMP, Rock Hill, after 25 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are sons, Michael David Adams (Lisa) of Dallas; Carl Franklin Falls (Christine) of Grover; daughter, Carlene Falls Shuford of Bessemer City; brother, Don Adams and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Kayla Adams, Summer Adams, Jacob Falls, Leanna Hager, Megan Hager Wilson (Deavin), Lindsey Shuford and Devan Shuford (Jamie), great-grandchildren, Bentley J. Shuford, Liam Parker Wilson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughters, Robin Falls Hager; former wife, Alene Adams.

The family wants to thank Luther and Tammy Wade, additional caretakers and very loyal friends Johnny Woods, Jimmy Mackey, Edgar Holbrook and Bob Dulin. We appreciate all you have done to help make this last year comfortable for him. Special family members are Nancy, Peggy Stinnett; former sons-in-law, Scott Shuford, Ricky Hager.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Millwood.

The family will receive 10-10:45 am prior to the service on Saturday.

Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Wesleyan Children's Building Fund 510 E. Alabama Ave. Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
