Darlene Lunsford Pickelsimer

Darlene Lunsford Pickelsimer, 65, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC.
She was born December 18, 1954 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Ray Lunsford and Bessie Potter Lunsford.
Darlene loved reading and was very intelligent. She especially loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Courtney Pickelsimer; and sister, Dolores Stamm.
Left to cherish her memory are Darlene's son, Ryan Pickelsimer; brothers, Dallas, Paul, Harold, Gary, Allen and Tim Lunsford; sisters, Phyllis Howard, Carol Blair, Barbara Blazek, Brenda Vore and Lou Ford; and grandchildren, Aiden Pickelsimer, Cassidy Picklesimer and Peyton Cribb.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
