Danny Ray Wooten, 60, of Gastonia, passed away August 22, 2012 at his home. He was born June 30, 1952 in Gaston County, son of the late Leon Newton and Thelma Weaver Jenkins. A funeral service will be held 11 am on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
