Danny Welch

Danny Welch, 65, of Gastonia, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby, NC.

He was born on February 29, 1956, in Gaston County, to the late Jesse Edward and Lola Edwards Welch.

Danny was a US History buff. He loved watching NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Danny had a great appreciation for old trucks and cars.

In addition to his parents, Danny is preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Welch and sister, Claudia Welch.

Left to cherish Danny's memories are his daughters, Cheyenne Welch, and Nicole Parker (husband Vernon); girlfriend, Penny Nichols; brother, David Welch; and sister, Cleo Welch.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is assisting the family.
