Danny Bryson Pruitt, 76, of Gastonia, NC, passed away October 23, 2022, at Atrium-Lincolnton in Lincolnton, NC.
He was born September 30, 1946, in Gaston County, NC to the late Bryson and Willie Bell Pruitt.
Danny enjoyed music, hunting, hiking Crowders Mountain, and animals (especially his cat, Tripod). He was an avid reader.
He was a Vietnam Veteran who served with the US Air Force.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Diane Sisk Pruitt; brother, Dwight Pruitt and wife Betsy; sister, Sheila Jane Long and husband Bill; sister-in-law, Calvena Sisk; nephew, Bradley Pruitt his wife Jamie, and daughter, Kylee; nieces, Melissa Long and Eric, and Jessica Page and Justin; and great-nephew, Hunter Hughes.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard B. Sisk Jr.
All services will be private with military honors provided by The US Air Force and The Gaston County Honor Guard.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC.
