Danny Todd Mayo Sr.

Danny Todd Mayo Sr., 58, of Vale, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born in Lincoln County, NC to Leonard Mayo and the late Jeanette Hedgepath Mayo on    February 28, 1965.

Danny attended the New Testament Church of the First Born in Gastonia. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a gifted wood worker. He was a jack of all trades and a master of most. Danny was dedicated to God.

In addition to his father Danny is survived by his fiancée Sherry Lingle; son, Danny Mayo Jr. and girlfriend Katelyn Cloninger; daughter, Britny Terry; brothers, Jackie Mayo, Daryl Mayo; sisters, Linda Black and husband Rick, Renea Weathers; four grandchildren, Charatii, Aaliyah, Mikey, Brantley.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Curtis Wilson will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, 12:00 Noon at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A burial will follow at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
