Danny Horne

Danny Keith Horne, 71, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on November 1, 1949, in Gaston County, to the late William Franklin and Clara Mae Lawing Horne.

Danny loved listening to Southern Gospel music and was a big fan of Elvis Pressley.

Left to cherish Danny's memories are his son, Michael Horne; daughters, Clara Byers, Amber Brooks (Chad), Charity McClain (Tyrone), and Kimberly Osorio (Luciano); brother, David "Ricky" Horne (Debbie); sister, Annette Howard; grandchildren, Kala Byers, Brittany Coffman, Austin Osorio, Cloie Osorio, Gavin Brooks, Hannah Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Trinity Osorio, Charli Brooks, Izaiah Mercado, Ansleigh Greene, Nathan Osorio, and Jacob Greene; great-grandchildren, Leon, Zoey, Hayden and Freya; special nephew and neices, Jason Howard, Star Moose (Mark) and Tammy Kiestler (Donald).

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Ron Duncan, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at The Place Church – 4007 York Hwy, Gastonia, NC, 28052.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment to follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to The Place Church – 4007 York Hwy, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
