Danny Carl Hensley

Danny Carl Hensley, 70, of Lincolnton, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
A Gaston County native, he was born May 23, 1947, son of the late Mack and Edna Smith Hensley.
Mr. Hensley was a US Navy retiree and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was a member of Hardin Community Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Doris Wilson.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Linda Hensley; sons, Eric Hensley and wife Paula, Chad Hensley and wife Dianne; and grandsons, Christopher and Nicholas.
A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Clay Ledford, will be held 3 pm Wednesday, at Hardin Community Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be in the Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin Community Baptist Church, 548 Hardin Rd., Dallas, NC 28034.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
