Dannie Brayboy, 66, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 24, 2018, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas..
He was born March 12, 1952, in Robeson County, son of the late Lillie Brayboy.
Dannie loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He loved
being outdoors such as hunting, fishing, family trips to the beach, mountains,
watching old westerns, eating seafood and having a good hamburger.
He was a native of Robeson County.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Greene
Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
Dannie is survived by his loving wife of over 43 years, Barbara Locklear
Brayboy; daughters, Selina Phomphak and husband, Donovan, Lillie Brayboy and
fiancé, Jesus Trejo; brother, Earl Brayboy; sister, Carolyn Brewer;
grandchildren, Dominic Panuco, Christian Brayboy, Rachel Brayboy; one
great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by sisters, Hilda Hunt and
Barbara Jean Hunt.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
