Daniel Gibson, 78, passed peacefully on September 26, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gaston County on August 17, 1939 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gibson.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 59 years, Barbara Gibson; son, Talbert Gibson (Trisha); grandchildren, Dana, Amber and Chase; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Daniel, Fisher; brother Lanny; sisters, Vickie, Judy, Jill and Jo Beth.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 29th at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Richard Cole.
Memorials may be made to West Fifth Free Will Baptist Church, 2145 West Fifth Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28052.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
