Daniel "Dan" David Duncan

Daniel "Dan" David Duncan, 85, of Lowell, passed away March 9, 2016 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born May 28, 1930, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Prosey and Fronia Duncan.

Dan was a member of Lowell Church of God.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 65 years Joyce Duncan; son, Eric Duncan and wife Cammy; Catherine Schronce and husband Joe and June Howell and husband Robbie; brothers Sam and Howard Duncan; sister Elsie Loftin; grandchildren Adam Howell, Joshua Duncan, Cole Howell, Laura Peche, Sarah Schronce and Savannah Duncan and great-grandchild Michael Peche.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Earl and Otis Duncan.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday at Lowell Church of God, 804 W. 1St Street, Lowell, officiated by Pastor Joe Heffner.

The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:30 pm prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
