It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dana Kathleen Aldridge of Gastonia, who left this world peacefully on September 9, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1983, Dana was a loving mother, and a compassionate home health aide whose gentle spirit touched the lives of many.
Dana dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her profession and personally. She found immense joy in raising her children and being a constant source of support and love for her family. Dana's nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family; she endeavored to uplift those around her, making it her mission to help everyone feel a little better every day. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, and dedication that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A true lover of animals, Dana often found solace and happiness in their company, bringing warmth and kindness to all living creatures.
Dana is survived by her son, Matthew Brunner; her daughter, Destiny Aldridge; stepfather to her children, Tim Cobb; brothers, Eddie Aldridge and John Aldridge.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents Johnny Aldridge and Mary Sherrill Bolt; aunts, Lily and Joyce; and her, uncle Ray
A celebration of Dana's life will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church on September 12, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Steve Fletcher. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life, share cherished memories, and support one another during this difficult time.
Though Dana is no longer with us, her legacy of love, care, and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
