Dan Howard Owenby

Dan Howard Owenby, 86, passed away October 11, 2017 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House.
He was born May 28, 1931 in Macon County, the son of the late Charley Owenby and Lena May Owenby.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Madielene "Pat"Patricia Owenby, brothers Bill Owenby, Cecil Owenby, and Luther "Bud" Owenby, sisters Ora Mashburn and Jane Farley, and daughters Shellie Louise Parton and Janice Sue Armstrong.
Left to cherish his precious memory are daughters Deborah Stouffer and Judy Ware, niece Mary Eloise Reynolds, and grandchildren Patrick and Clinton Parton, Wendy Gallo, Danny Armstrong, Gwen Barlow, Shannon Williams, Randall Ward, and Marty Turner.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Gaston Memorial Park.
