Dallas Rogers

Charlotte, NC Dallas Rogers, 67, of Charlotte, passed away December 8, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Graham Co., NC, he was born July 15, 1945 son of the late Harvey and Rosetta McKinney Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carmen Ann Welch. Mr. Rogers was retired from Siemens of Charlotte after 33 years of service. Dallas is survived by his loving wife of over 47 years, Jo Ann Rogers of the home; daughter, Candy R. Broadway and husband, Joseph, of Cherryville; son-in-law, Rodney Welch of Bessemer City; sisters, Bonnie Mills and husband, Don, of Gastonia, Donna Mae Silvers and husband, Clifton, of Robbinsville; grandchildren, Matthew C. Welch, Joseph Broadway Jr., and Caitlin Broadway. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Harold Ashe, will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, December 12, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
