Cynthia Yvonne Peterson

Cynthia Peterson, 60, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away August 17, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born July 6, 1964, in Gaston County, NC to the late Nancy Adams.

Cynthia was a very loving, kind, God-fearing woman. She was quick to lovingly add correction if she felt you were doing wrong.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Adams; daughter, Debbie Hundley; brother, Dewayne Adams; sister, Becky Adams; and her first husband, Steve Waddell.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Timothy Moore; sons, Michael Hundley and wife Tiffany, and Jessie Hundley; two stepsons, Jeffery Waddell and Daniel Williams; grandchildren, Matt, Blake, Josh, Faith, Britney, Angelina, and Riley; and great-grandchild, Paisley.

A celebration of life of Cynthia's life will be scheduled at a later date.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC.
