Cynthia "Bootsie" Oliver

Cynthia "Bootsie" Oliver, 68, of Gastonia, passed away March 1, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 14, 1948, a native of Gaston County, the daughter of the late Empie Allen and Rose Hooks Allen.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons William David Allen and Robbie Melton and niece Tracy Rodriguez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Oliver; brothers Eddie Eugene Allen and Charlie Allen; sisters Sadie Benton, Betty Cobb, Pat Childers and Mary Street.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – West Chapel 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
