Cynthia Marie Kinsler

Cynthia Marie Kinsler (Kimsey), 64, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2026. Born in 1962 in Dover, NJ, she moved to Gastonia at the age of three, where she would build her life.

Cindy was a woman of remarkable strength and vigilance who lived life authentically and on her own terms. She had a deep, spiritual appreciation for the natural world, holding a special place in her heart for Native American culture, wolves, butterflies, and her beloved pets, especially Shiloh, Precious, and Oreo, but so many others. Above all else, she dedicated her life to her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memories are her Husband, Robert Kinsler; Children, Michael Kimsey and wife Nicole, Crystal Sams, and Amber Wiggins; Stepmother, Carol Kimsey; Brother, Tim Kimsey; Sisters, Lori Kimsey, Ginger Kimsey, and Beth Kimsey; Grandchildren, Jasmine, Tristen, Colin, Gage, Diane, and Logan.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Mae Kimsey; Father, Woodrow Kimsey; Mother, Jean Koedatich; Daughter, Ashley Sams; and Brother, Eugene Kimsey.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC.
