Cynthia Richards Caldwell

Cynthia Richards Caldwell, 57 of Cherryville, passed away June 30, 2014 at Carolina Care Center. She was born April 12, 1957 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Fred and Bobbie Richards. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and employed with Ramsey Products for 5 years in Belmont. Cynthia loved to travel to the mountains and the beach with her special cousins and Aunt Dalphia. Cynthia is survived by her son, Curtis Caldwell; brother, Mark Richards and wife, Teresa; sister, Sandra Keller and husband, Ronnie; nieces, Brandy and Jessica Richards; nephew, Ryan Richards and special caregivers, Melinda Conner, Donna Horne, Patsy McCumbee and the staff of Carolina Care Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Richards. A memorial service will be held 4 pm on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Travis Mull. Visitation will be 3 - 3:45 pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church - Missions Fund, 439 Tot Dellinger Rd., Cherryville, NC 28021 Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
