Cynthia Janine Barr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Wallace Barr, who left us on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Born on August 11, 1957, in Norfolk, VA, Cynthia spent her life as a loving wife, devoted mother, and dedicated hard worker. She brought joy and kindness to everyone she met and was known for her generous spirit - always ready to give her heart to those in need.

Cynthia spent many years working as a secretary at RWM Manufacturing, where she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues for her tireless work ethic and warm personality. She was a proud member of Midview Baptist Church, where she found solace and community.

Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Curtis Barr; son, Matthew Barr; granddaughter, Lillie Barr; brother Jeff Wallace; aunt Jennie Cook; uncle, John Farnum Wallace; cousin, Roxanne Mason, all who will cherish her memory forever. She leaves behind countless friends and family who will remember her as a vibrant spirit and a compassionate soul.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, David and Shirley Wallace.

A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at Friday, June 20, 2025, 6:00 PM at Midview Baptist Church, 703 Margrace Rd. Kings Mountain, NC, where family and friends will come together to honor her memory.

Cynthia Wallace Barr may have left this world, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in our hearts. She will be dearly missed.
