Curtis Jackson Upton

Curtis Jackson Upton, 42, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 14, 2024. Born on November 4, 1982, in North Carolina, Curtis was a beloved member of the community known for his humor and friendly personality.

He was a cashier at the Battleground BP Service Station, where he enjoyed engaging with customers and making them smile. Curtis was a true jokester and found joy in connecting with people. He cherished his family, particularly his two sons, Alex and Liam Upton.

Curtis is also survived by his sister and best friend, Christy Upton (Lynette), brother, Dale Upton, aunt, Chris Love (Robert). His warm spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends to honor and celebrate Curtis's life will be held 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. The service will include remembrances of his loving nature and the joy he brought to those around him. All are welcome to come and pay their respects to a man who touched the hearts of many.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for funeral expenses to Christy Upton.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Martha Upton; grandparents, Hillard and Lorene Upton, Oscar and Virginia Willis.
