Curtis Franklin Gill

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Curtis Franklin Gill, who left us on June 27, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on June 8, 1968, in North Carolina, Curtis lived a life full of passion, love, and adventure in Clover, SC.

In his early years, Curtis was a dedicated machinist, known for his skills in the machine shop. He was the loving husband to his wife, Carman, and a devoted father to his daughter, Cheri Alexander (Robert). Family was everything to Curtis. He cherished every moment spent coaching his children in baseball and creating unforgettable memories outdoors. Whether fishing or hunting, he was always happiest in nature, sharing his love for the great outdoors. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Trip, Stormi and Mac Alexander; brother, Gary Green; sister, Loraine Stowe; Mamaw Pam and a host of other family and friends.

Curtis had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went; he truly never met a stranger. His warm personality and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service celebrating Curtis's life will take place at the Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at the same location beginning at 5:00 PM.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Isom and Florence Gill; son, Lonnie Gill; sister, Darlene Davis.
