Reverend Curtis Ray England, 73, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, he was born on January 13, 1952, to the late Ray and Gladys England.

Curtis was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gastonia. He was a retired Baptist Minister. He served as Associate Pastor at Grace Baptist Church from 1985 - 1996. He served at a deacon at Community Baptist Church in Dallas. He never met a stranger; he was always sharing his faith with others.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Patrick Camp; daughter, Jamie Camp.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife of over 34 years, Patricia Turner England; step grandchildren, Jeremiah, Patrick Jr, Landon, Nicole, Riley, Tanner; sister, Kay Lawrence; niece, Stefani McNeal (Curtis); great-niece, Kayla Shepard (Michael).

A funeral service officiated by Pastor David MacEachern, will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, 3:00 PM, at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Youth Fund.
