Cullen Walker Rayfield, 15-month-old precious son of Angel Wray and Brandon Rayfield, passed away December 18, 2023, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital in Shelby.
He was born September 26, 2022, in Gaston County.
Cullen was always smiling, and he loved to eat cookies. He has been a fighter since his birth, and he absolutely loved and adored his big brother.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church 5306 Dallas-Cherryville Highway, officiated by Dr. Thomas Hovis and Dr. Robert Austin.
The family will receive friends 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Cullen is survived by his loving parents, Brandon Rayfield and Angel Wray; brother, Stetson Rayfield; grandparents, Amanda Griffin, Robert and Patricia Wray, Rodney and Robin Rayfield; great-grandparents, Bobby and Debbie Wray, Harold and Jeanette Rayfield, Lauretta and Paul Carawan, Steve and Susan Phillips, Charles and Brenda Carroll, Richard Griffin; aunts and uncles, Patelynn Quates, Mason Wray, Taylor Riddle, Colt Rayfield, Cody and Kelsey Rayfield; great-aunts and great-uncles, Johnny and Crystal Wray, Billy and Casey Dawson, Stephen and Frances Riddle, Richard and Stephanie Griffin; numerous cousins.
Cullen was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Judy Mincey; great-great aunt, Juanita Hannah.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.
