Crystal Darlene Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Crystal Darlene Thomas, who left us on April 26, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on October 20, 1972, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Crystal will be remembered for her warm spirit and vibrant creativity.

Crystal spent her life dabbling in art, finding joy in drawing Tigger, flowers, and butterflies. She cherished the simple pleasures of coloring, bringing color to her world and the lives of those around her. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching television.

Crystal is survived by her daughter, Veronica Garvin; sons, Demetrius and Christian Campbell; grandson, Alias Jackson; mother, Cheryl Thomas; and brother, Scottie Lee Thomas. She was a unique spirit who touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

All services will be held private by the family.

Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Edward Thomas, Sr.; siblings, Jackie "Eddie" Edward Thomas Jr. and Kelly Renee Thomas Rippy.
